Pultruded wedge block (UD block) is a specialized profile for wind turbine blade roots, co-developed by our company and Dow Chemical. Made of epoxy resin and glass fiber roving via pultrusion, it features high tensile and shear strength, with good compatibility to blade systems. Embedded in the blade root, it effectively improves structural strength and stability, avoiding defects like wrinkles and bubbles from manual layup and vacuum infusion.
